If you’re a WordPress blogger looking to collect new email subscribers on your site, Mad Mimi has an official WordPress email sign up form plugin! The plugin makes it simple to connect your Mad Mimi sign up forms to your WordPress blog. Syncing the two accounts allows you to select any email sign up form in your Mad Mimi account and place it on your WordPress blog.
How To Set Up The WordPress Email Sign Up Form Plugin:
- Make sure you have at least one webform in your Mad Mimi Account.
- Install and Activate the Plugin over at WordPress.
- In WordPress, go to the plugin settings page (under Settings > Mad Mimi Settings) and enter your Mad Mimi Account email and API Key.
Your available forms will appear after saving your Mad Mimi account details. Click Refresh Forms to update your form list at any time.
Adding your Mad Mimi Sign Up Form to WordPress:
You can add a form to WordPress using the widget tool, a shortcode, or a template tag. Here’s a brief description of each option, read more about the options on the Official WordPress plugin page.
Shortcodes:
You can add a form to any post or page by adding the shortcode with the form ID (ex. [madmimi id=77404]) in the page/post editor. You can find a form’s ID on the Mad Mimi Settings page.
Template Tag:
You can add the following template tag into any WordPress file:
<?php madmimi_form( $form_id ); ?>. Ex. <?php madmimi_form( 91 ); ?>

Widget:
Look for the Mad Mimi Form widget in the widgets menu under Appearance >Widgets in the WordPress Dashboard and drag it into the widget area of your choice. You can then add a title, some text and choose your form!
