Mad Mimi is extremely reliable when delivering… she doesn’t just flake out. :)
That being said, are you trying to send from your email address to that same address? For example, are you sending from info@example.com, to info@example.com?
Sending to yourself, from yourself using an outside mail-server (in this case, Mad Mimi) results in your firewall thinking that your promotion is spam. It thinks you should really be using your own domain’s mailserver to send to yourself, not Mimi’s. Thus, it filters out the Mimi promotion. Yea – it sounds bad, but it’s not really. Read on…
To fix this problem, first try sending to a different personal address than the one you’re sending from, and see if you receive the mail. Then, if you know how, examine your firewall to see if it’s programmed to reject mail from your domain sent to your inbox by servers outside of your host. If you don’t know how to adjust your firewall settings, or if you still have an issue, let us know. Include in your email your ISP details and the name of your email service, and Mimi’s support team will investigate on the ISP level.
