How RSS to email works
Our RSS to email feature can be set to go out daily (or other intervals).
Every day (or at the interval you set), at the same time, Mad Mimi looks through your blog and grabs any new posts and sends ‘em out. To set it up, all you need to do is activate the addon, type in your URL, tell mimi which list to send to and how often, then save your settings. :)
The RSS feed transforms your blog entry into a RSS feed in that every day, week or month, Mimi goes to your blog at a specific time, searches for all the new posts since the last time and then places it into the email and sends it to a list you’ve selected.
You can include a sign up form that Mad Mimi provides and have it feed into the list that you’ve attached the RSS feed to. Forms are free and you can make them here: http://www.madmimi.com/signups.
The awesome part about the RSS to email feature is that its not necessarily beholden to who signs up for the feed. If you have an existing opt-in contact list, you can keep ‘em updated with what’s on your blog too.
To use the RSS feed, first activate the addon. It costs 5 dollars per month to use, but there’s a 30-day free trial period.
